2024 Cullman Savings Bank Cash for College Sweepstakes
NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT OF ANY KIND OR BANKING RELATIONSHIP IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR BANKING RELATIONSHIP WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
OFFICIAL RULES:
1. To Enter: The 2024 Cullman Savings Bank Cash for College Sweepstakes for $1,500.00 begins May 30, 2024, at 7:31 a.m. (CT) and ends June 13, 2024, at 7:31 a.m. (CT) (“Sweepstakes Period”) Sweepstakes entries received by 7:31 a.m. (CT) will be included in the drawing. There are no limits to the number of entries. You can enter the Sweepstakes two (2) different ways:
(A) Kids Club members who will turn seventeen (17) or eighteen (18) on or before May 31, 2024 will be automatically entered in the Sweepstakes (“Entry”). One entry will be made for each consecutive year the child has had a savings account at Cullman Savings Bank. Membership in the Cullman Savings Bank Kids Club may be achieved by opening a Cullman Savings Bank Kids Club Savings account; or
(B) Entries may be made for any child who will be seventeen (17) or eighteen (18) on or before May 31, 2024. An entry form may be completed by hand-printing their name, address, city, state, zip, day and evening phone numbers, and child’s legal guardian on a 3″x 5″ card, and mailing the card in a stamped envelope during the Sweepstakes Period to: Cullman Savings Bank Cash for College Sweepstakes,316 2nd Avenue SW, Cullman, AL 35055.
2. Mail-in entries must be postmarked between 5/30/24 and 6/13/24, and be received by 06/18/24 to be eligible for the 2024 drawing. Neither Sponsor, nor any of its employees, representatives or agencies, is responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, destroyed, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries. Entrants need not be present to win. Once submitted, entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. For a copy of these Official Rules, visit any Participating Branch during the Sweepstakes Period or send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Cullman Savings Bank Cash for College Sweepstakes, 316 2nd Avenue SW, Cullman, AL 35055, by 06/13/23.
3. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to any current Cullman County resident, who will be seventeen (17) or eighteen (18) years old on or before May 31, 2024 (“Eligible Entrants”). All Eligible Entrants must provide the name of their legal guardian(s) in order to submit an Entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Employees and directors of Cullman Savings Bank (Sponsor) and their immediate families and households are not eligible to win.
4. Consumer Disclosure: Prizes: $1,500.00 in College Expense Money: A one thousand five- hundred dollar ($1,500.00) check. There will be one (1) winner.
5. Estimated Odds: Actual odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received prior to drawing date.
6. Prize Restrictions: Prize is not transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prize permitted. Federal, state, and local taxes, and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of the prize not specified are the responsibility of the winner. The college expense prize check will be payable jointly to the winner and the winner’s parent or legal guardian, if winner is a minor at the time of prize award. Check must be endorsed by all parties. If any prize notification letter is returned to Sponsor or its designated agent as undeliverable, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. If Sponsor is unable to verify that the winner is successfully enrolled in an Accredited Institution in the Fall of 2024, then the prize will be forfeited unless the student will be a senior in high school in the Fall of 2024, then, the winner must be successfully enrolled in an Accredited Institution in the Fall of 2025. All information provided by Eligible Entrants may be verified.
7. Drawings: On June 18, 2024, a random drawing will be conducted under the direction of Sponsor from among all eligible entries received prior to the drawing date. There will be one (1) winner randomly The prize will be awarded as indicated in the Prize Claim Section (Paragraph 8) and upon verification of Eligible Entrants’ information. See Prize Claim Section (Paragraph 8) for details. Need not be present to win.
8. Prize Claims: Winners will be notified by U.S. Mail sent to the address on the winner’s entry form and/or by telephone, approximately one (1) week after the drawing. Winner may be required to provide picture identification and, where legal, a Publicity Release, and will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release. In the event of noncompliance with the Official Rules, or if the prize or prize notification is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. If the prize is not claimed within 30 days of the date of the first notification letter, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner.
9. Additional Terms: By participating, entrants and their parents or legal guardians agree to: a) the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and of Sponsor, which shall be final in all respects; and b) release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor, Cullman Savings Bank, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees, from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the Sweepstakes and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize. By accepting the prize, winner agrees to Sponsor’s and its designees’ use, where legal, of the winner’s name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation and, upon request, will provide consent to such use in writing. These rules may change with every year’s Sweepstakes. Rules will be published governing the Sweepstakes on or around May of each year.
10. Limitation of Liability: Sweepstakes Sponsor: Cullman Savings Bank, 316 2nd Avenue SW, Cullman, AL 35055 (“Sponsor”). Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants and their parents or legal guardians release Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the directors, officers, employees, or agencies of any of the above organizations, from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, tax liabilities or damages of any kind arising from entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize. Acceptance of prize shall constitute and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use his/her name, address (city and state only), likeness, and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any media now existing or hereinafter devised, without additional compensation, where legal. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to: (i) disqualify from this or any Sweepstakes it sponsors, now or in the future, any person it finds, in its sole discretion, has intentionally violated these Official Rules, tampered with the entry process, the operation of the Sweepstakes, or any other aspect of this Sweepstakes; and (ii) cancel or suspend part or all of this Sweepstakes in the event that printing errors, tampering, fraud, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor may award prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension.
